On mine, it was leaking from the underneath the Powers steering reservoir. Can you see the fluid or are you just noticing a decrease in fluid from the reservoir?

If it's not coming from the pump it's porbably a p/s pressure hose

no theres no knots in the hose but like when im driving everyonce in a while ill be turning and then it gets super hard to turn the wheel, (and the best thing i can describe it like is like driving an old school tractor without power steering,) but when i start to get the RPM's up it becomes easier to steer?

either you need a power steering pump or a rack and pinion - or you could just have some air in the lines

I was just gonna ask. Sounds like his pump is about to go. You can get a new pump for a decent price off eBay. New ones are pricy, especially those for 3.4 with variable assist.

Check the rubber boot sleeve that goes over the steering column gear leading into the rack. Mine had come loose and the fluid was leaking like crazy, but I slipped the rubber boot back into place and it stopped leaking completely.

You'll have to disconnect the steering linkage, it might be a 13mm bolt I don't remember. You'll have to get the car in the air, and its probably the first steering knuckle above where the column leads into the rack. I don't remember for sure how to do it, but chilton has a good website:
