new motor

okay here it goes...my friends dad wrecked their 99 grand prix GTP and i bought the motor off of him that only has 86,000 miles on it and im hoping i can do a motor swap in the near future. what would i need for the swap if its even possible? help would be appreciated. thanks

Use the SEARCH BUTTON its already been asked 1,000,000 times and everyone will tell its not worth it just build your motor and turbo it but if you really want to do it Guiguilandry is the guy to talk to cause hes already done it.

engine swap is not worth it on the Alero unless you're putting in something that has over 200 NA hp. IIRC, the 3800 doesn't meet that.

***edit: unless you are just doing it for a project, just to say you can do it.

Easy With The 4t65 Auto From The Gtp. Just A Little Welding And Wiring... And You Have To Keep The Gtp Gauge Cluster Too
