ok........i've got two 12" subs in the trunk and the one thing i hate is the trunk rattling when i turn up the music. i just need to know what can fix it. expanding foam? dyna mat? silicone at the seam? wnat to know before i do it. i'm sure somebody else out there has had the same problem, but it rattles right where the two sections of the trunk come together between the tailights.

Dynamat your trunk, and slap on the dynamat license plate kit.....should solve your problem, or if not, at least lessen the rattle pretty significantly

save yourself some money and use weaterstripping. Put some behind the licence plate and around the edges of that plastic cover that comes off. Then get some expanding foam and put it in the trunk lid (there are 3 holes where the lid meets the back window and the arms attach to the lid. I did this and it worked for me.

i took off the plastic panel and taped a bag around the inside then filled the bag with spray foam andput it backon the car. I still had a litle plate rattle but using4 screws took car of that. No more rattles from the plastic piece. Now I just have to stop thetrunk lidfrom resinating

I got rid of all my rattles, incl. license plate, lower plastic panel, and even that air escaping around the rear windshield, but after I got rid of my Power Acoustik and put in the Alpine Type R, my SPOILER now rattles- you can actually watch it bend in the middle- I'm still pondering that one...

don't know for sure about that one^^^ but a friend of mine was into competitions and he attached a steel beam to the inside of his trunk to keep it weighted down and to keep it from bending. as far as i know, it worked for him
