Rear Main Seal

Hi all I was just wondering what kind of trouble would get in to doing it myself I am a decent mech just wanted to get some opions being as it will cost me about 600 to 700 in labor at the dealer or shop she has about 130,000 on her and runs great I also would fix a couple of leaks while I am at it

Actually that's a decent price.

You will have to sepreate the tranny from the motor if I'm not mistaken, I've never done one, but I know a guy who has one leaking right now and they told him $800

That's outragous, I do it for under $500, including part. Im in STL, come over. I need the business. 4 hours tops
