Karma?

Piss anyone off lately?

Exposed wire or constant power instead of remote?

I could have not been fused properly..at least that is what the fuses stop from happening, or the wrong size fuse was used.

Yeap something was completely fused wrong causing one or all the wires connected to it to heat up.....hopefully you haven't damaged anything else but once you get it back up and going I would drop that fuse by 10 amps and see if it holds up, but that in essence isn't going to completely fix it unless you can figure out what is causing the problem in the first place. Like Cherry said you may have a short some where or the relay could have failed causing a short. Good luck on this one sounds like a bitch to figure out unless its an isolated circuit.

Do you have anything wired out of the fusebox that could have bridged and cause the short?

You may want to check to see if the door lock actuator in one of the doors is burnt up, may have been stuck on. Just a thought! Door relay usually runs around 15amps, and trunk should be about 10amps. Just a question, but do you have keyless entry? If so could it be possible that the lock/unlock buttons was pushed?

It should say on the inside of the fuse panel what the amp should be for each item. Going too high or low will cause problems.
