whats up
whats going on...... just stoping to say whats up to everyone and introduse my self. Lets see bout me well....... not much but i dont own an alero but i have a grand am wich is the same sh&* as an alero so basicly an N body so , about my car is a 99 pontiac grand am turbo 2.4 auto , before anyone ask here is the mod list ::::::::
2.4 twin cam:
4t40 auto trans
b&m shift plus
custom log style manifold
tial external wastegate 38mm
garrette t3/t4 turbo with a 70 trim cold side (yes it fit but with a little help of the grinder and part of the rear tranny mount but i made it fit)
fmic from greddy
RC injectors 440cc
JE pistons
eagle rods
clevite bearings
block bored .20
copper head gasket
ARP studs on everything
2.3 ho manifold and HO 56mm throttle body
blazer fuel pump 255L
autometer gauges
coilover suspencion
SAFC2 ( yes i know about HP tuners , e manage and MS also and the reflash)
well thats about it so far but i know im forgeting alot of other stuff but ill post it later. With this car turbo bone stock motor as off internals at 7psi it put down 248WHP dont ask me how cause i really dont know where i went right.....lol i was shock too when i saw that. Now that is build im sitting at 10psi putting down 285 WHP because of the limitations on the tuning part but will be fixed soon.
this question will probably be asked so here is the answer to it before its asked, this car at the track ran a 14.6 at 96mph no brake boosting or nothing just green light and floor it that was it, i know i should of but i didnt its ok they were test runs for me i want it to get the feel for the car before going to the extreme. I havent ran it yet now that is built but lets just say that a corvette stingray with a 500 in it block wasnt a challenge neither was the ford cobra but he at least put up a good fight.
Well that my intro..... hello sorry for the bad spelling.

im in minnesota but i go to rockfalls wisconsin to race i dont know what the elevation is there but its weird because there where also some runs where i only ran 92 and 93 mph and ran a 15 flat so i dont know what to tell you plus the runs were just green light and go i didnt brake boost it at all, i dont know what the car runs now but i cant tell you its like 3 times faster than what it was..

going down 35w south towards burnsville, that thing (sounded like it) moved. Anyone with info on this car? It had ideal investment stickers on the back and some gauges.

well im not 100% sure, but it sounded like it was a stick which means it would be the 4 cyl, but then again he may have just downshifted with the auto (not that anything out of the ordinary happened)

the above is what i found online from the guy with the cobra....lol it made my day cause i didnt think i would make someone so worried to the point that he wants to know who the hell i was.... i love his little quote (not that anything out of the ordinary happened) lol he didnt want anybody to know what happened on the cobra forums. also to add that run was with 2 passenger, a tranny (cavalier 5 speed ) in the trunk of my car and a full tank of gas plus i weight close to 300 pounds. he was by him self thats sad.....lol this was funny to me tho because my phone started to blow up that day people calling me telling me about this.... anyways last i heard about the guy he sold his cobra 3 months after this LLLLLOOOOOLLLLL

ya know, it's strange, but the people with the "supercars" need to learn to let the car sit in the garage or at the car show and just be admired while it's sitting still, and let everyone just assume that it's fast.
It's always the wild cars that get embarrassed, cobra's, Z06, GTO's.....I don't know why the owners get surprised. They should learn that the car manufacturers are out to give them a false sense of superiority and take more of their money in the process for the "performance models".

I agree, especially with the Mustang guys. They're so quick to shrug you off because they don't see a V8, it's pretty funny when they get beat by a turbo 4. The C6 Z06's are an exception. 11 second passes bone stock is pretty impressive.

yea its fun but it just needs more maintinece than it was stock but thats just me do i drive the car everywhere and i dont want to be stranded. Other than that ive seen you on jbody.org , it kind of sux that you are not finishing your set up i would of love to see it run. I was going to do the 2.3 oil pump swap also but i didnt need to, once i got my balance shaft got rebuild the oil presure sits at 80 cold and at idle sits at 20-25 psi, i dont know what they did to it but thats what i get now.
