Yep, I'm New

So, Hi all!
I the proud owner of an 02' 4 Door GLS with a 3400 (Automatic I've always like standard vehicles better)

I'm planning on taking my Alero and making it better that it already is.

First 2 planned steps "Clear the Corners" and I'm looking at tinting the tail lights. Just trying to decide if I'm going with a design or not.

You will have to wait for the pics it is dark right now. So I will work on those after work tomorrow.

She has a few issues, but runs great.

got 117.5k miles on it.
As for the issues I got the silly "Emissions" code I got to see which on for sure. I have an odd issue with just the driver side inner turn indicator. Normally if the headlights are on both of the turn indicators are lit. My inner one is not on the driver side. It does work if I turn on the turn signal.
But bla bla bla not the section for this.

I still need to get that darn relay recall done so I don't have to beat on my hazards to get my turn signals to work.
Both driver side windows are broke with working motors. If I had to take a stab I'd guess regulators.
The heat only really warms up when I get going a decent speed. The same for the AC not cold till I speed up.
wow, suddenly more issues than I remembered.

Welcome! Me and manwhore chill quite often.

I've got a 3400 with the F40 6 speed manual swap in mine (2 of 2) only other guy is in Chicago with one. The transmission is from a G6 if you are interested in doing it. It's going to take some work though, and hope you know that the 3400 did not come with a manual option from factory.

Anyway, yes come to the alero show in June! Last one and me and manwhore will be there. You could bring your alero and we could cruise up to Michigan for it. (Fathers day weekend)

I may have seen your alero before... We will see after you post pictures.

Now you did it Sleepy. I'm sitting here at work looking up f23 and f40 trans. It is so tempting. The hard part would be having to do all the work myself. Well and figuring out everything that I would need.
I'm sure my wallet would not be happy with me wither.

This is for a grand am, but exact same as an alero just different shell. Everything you need is within this thread. You're welcome.

though fist thing is first for me I got to get my windows fixed and replace at least the rear bumper first. There is seriously 2 screws in my bumper that are holding part of it to the car because of a missing mount under the tail light. For the record I did not put the screws there.

Not bad, did you remove front badge? I would have left it. Since the indent in the bumper, also get rain guards for all doors!

Aside from that, looks pretty good.

Edit- what happened to your passenger fog light?
