Ok, I am going to have to get a new battery. I don't have a lot of money to spend (read, <$60). Any suggestions? I have a system, but it is not that big, and I hardly every crank it up anyways.... so I'm just looking for a good all-around battery.

Well since my dad owns a repair facility, I get them through him, but I think you know what I am talking about I am sure you have seen one of their race cars on TV before or if you were at a NasCar event.

Wal-Mart warranties batteries for a year, I think. They're also cheap. They even give you a little pouch to put the receipt in and slap on the battery.

Wal-Mart. cheap, easy, no hassle. And I believe the free replacement warranty is for a year, after that, it is prorated for a certain length of time (read more $ = longer warranty).

I had a motomaster eliminator battery on my old Cav. Had a 3 year free replacement period and a 9 year warranty. Our Canadian Tire stores here have deals like this.

If you have any type of system I would suggest a capacitor. Will run you anywhere from $40-$150

Good luck.

I don't need a CAP with my system... I only have a 120 watt amp pushing 3 10" subs... yeah i know it isn't much, but I don't ever listen to my system pounding anyway.

With the diehard gold, I am not sure about the warrenty, but I do know that I don't have the recipt anymore. I looked all over for it and its gone.

Anything is better than the stock AC Delco. About 3 weeks ago the casing around the positive post just blew right out. Left me stranded for about 3 hours. Pretty pissed. A guy that works at NAPA told me that he's seen about 4 or 5 others do the same.
