stock tire size

Hey all,

OK so I been looking at springs and such and I had a question. I noticed my tires were 225/50/16s and I thought that was kind of odd for stock. I looked on the door plate and sure enough it's stock. Is that really the normal stock size for a 2001 gls sedan gold package or does that mean it's one of them cars with the better suspension?

tire size doesnt have to do with your suspension really, suspension is struts and springs

I do belive some of the early alero cames with aluminum control arms and those were consider sport suspension other than that. Factory sport suspension on an alero is a joke,

Yep, All the Aleros with 16" wheels have 225/50R16 tires. If you have the FE3 (sport) suspension you would have the Goodyear Eagle RS-A Tires. I believe the standard (FE2) models would have Goodyear Eagle GA tires.
