yeah i know, me too, and all aleros have 6x9's in the rear.. what im asking is will they all fit.. depth wise.. like do they stick up too far and hit the grill or something? hang to low (if possible)? crutchfield.com says that they wont all fit because some of them are off by as much as .5 inches, some as little as 5/100th of an inch.. so.. i was jw

_01Alero_ is an unknown quantity at this point
All will fit, but some may not fit without you having to cut out some of the rear deck in order to get them to fit. I had some momo 6x9's and they were too big for the rear. The cone was too big to fit all the way into the opening. I didn't want to cut anything, so I sold them. So, to answer you questions, all will fit but some will only fit with a little cutting (of the rear deck) to get them to drop in.
That is what my experience with 6x9's is. Hope that helps a little...

Yeah. I had Infinity 693.5i speakers that wouldn't fit either. That would've required too much modifying to be worth it though. The baskets were huge! I want to get the 693.7i, it's quite a bit different.

well, the infinity speakers that don't work are the ones with the ginormous plastic basket. The stamped steel ones should fit better.

i just installed some of the JL TR series 6x9's today, they fit perfect and sound amazing.

They set me back about 160$, but it was money well spent.
