Fading Radio on No EQ Setting
Ok, so the problem is my NO Equalizer option for my radio, the one where I can tune bass and treble, fades in and out horribly. The only way I can describe it is when someone puts their hand at your face and opens it, then pulls it away and closes it, rapidly and repetitively. If whoever's gonna try to answer this needs further explanation then I'll try my best to explain but for now my question is do you think my radio is dying? Its a Jensen and its less than a year old. Thanks in advance.

If you have another HU around I would try it and see if the problem is still there.
More than likely its the HU though.

Alright, I have a Pioneer one of my friends is willing to let me borrow, but if the HU is blown I'm gonna more than likely get a flip out deck.

HU wasn't the problem.
Battery died fully today. Apparently the weird sounds were b/c my battery didn't have enough power to bump the subs, idk.
Makes me think my alts on its way out. . .

Obviously.
Since the alternator should supply more voltage than the battery, hence the "charge".
I would have the alt tested ASAP.
Having a weak battery should have 0 impact on your system overall. Since the battery is only about 12.6V and the alternator is 13.8V all your current is essentially from the alternator. The battery is just a filter at this point...

The car was starting really slowly, turning over slow on start. The battery impacts that. But the fact that there were problems while the car was running DEF shows alternator.
I'm taking it to Pep Boys Tomorrow to test it.
