OK do u have the 2.2, 2.4 or 3.4 engine? If 3.4 .. u might keep up.
I wouldn't do it.

If its the GS (138HP) and he has no performance modifications whatsoever, you got him. If it's the GT, I wouldn't do it. Tiburon's a quick car, lighter, too.

What engine is in your car? Do you have a coupe or a 4dr?
What type is the Tiberon? If its a GT, for the love of god dont.

umm what "chip" do you have? if you had anything worthwhile you would know that it is called a PCM and not a chip.

Ok logically dood, if this is your only car you have got to be kidding me? Im sure he has another car he doesnt care about. Race for money but the only people who race for slips are hardcore racers. Not some kid with a CAI.
Take him to a track for the value of your car then if you think you have that good of a chance. Not slips because if you lose, your screwed. He has some other add'ons he isnt telling you about. Nobody would race for pinks without a guarantee

this has to be one of the dumbest things i have seen discussed here in awhile... somebody willing to give up their car for absolutely no monetary gain, and more than likely be embarassed in the process...
