^^ especially since its so easy to hide a nitrous system until you purge it at the line

I wouldnt do it if i were you. I have raced a Tiburon GT. We both have CAI. I beat him off the line by about half a car and held there until most the way through 2nd, but top end he pulled away. If i remember correctly he won by about 1-2 cars. Just dont race this guy for slips, its asking to lose your car. I agree with these guys when they say that if he is willing to race for slips he has alot more than what he told you. I was in the street racing scene for a while and saw this type of stuff happen every weekend. Save yourself a car and alot of embarassment and dont race him. If you decide to race, good luck to ya.

^yup...amazing how dirty people are out there but hey if your suckered into a race then its your own fault, no matter how dirty they were about it (hiding mods or nitrous, etc.)

while your at it, hook up a wet nitrous system and hide it, then run the guy for slips...unless theres a set list of mods agreed upon before the race, then you can suprise him with that

I would NEVER race for pinks. Anything can happen.

Sleep on the line, and lose to a 18 sec Civic. Do something stupid, etc etc etc.
