Speedy Alero

ok. here's the idea. i am mucho bored and in a bad mood so i need something to distract me. I want to know how fast anybody's ever had their alero going. Try not to stretch the truth and please do not mention where it took place so this thread isn't locked for any illegal activities. I'm just curious if anybody's ever hit the 140 on the speedometer. I know that the cut out is supposed to be at 107 but some of us have done mods or simply have a "factroy freak" as its called.

here's mine:

109 m.p.h. in about 85 degree weather with the v6

Highest mine has gone was the 105ish speed limiter. Obviously it was on a closed to the public road, and a professional was driving.

he said "dont discuss where you did it", so that SHOULD save this thread as there would be no way to determine where the person did it. if it was on a closed course, then its perfectly fine.

myself, i have no idea as i have never tracked my car, but i know i got an 84mph speeding ticket and since then i am a stickler for the speed limits around me...

Got an 84mph speeding ticket myself... only ticket ever lol.

Anyway fastest I've been, (as safely as possible of course) was 120mph. Speed limiter removed n such.

108.. limiter.. I wouldn't like my tires to shred at higher speeds considering they aren't rated much above that.

Due to personal experience, My alero has been all the was up to 92 at the track, but since it is impossible for an Alero to reach speeds of 105, and 127 (like quoted in this thread) this thread is going be be locked, right now

Jackel's car hit 140, on a dyno, not the street

Hey on top of this thread being locked, here's something else to bitch about:
