the original hood i posted looks and flows the best outta all of these. no huge trans am scoops, no wild ones like that mustang, the camaro one is basically the one i'm talking about, the SS style.

And that hood might go on your car at first, and just like the wing you will remove it when you realize the crowd it puts you into, RICER. It is a fugly scoop. I didn't like it on a Chevy and will never be seen on any car I drive. Like I said somewhere on here, nobody will ever agree on a hood so I will be having my own custom made when the time comes.

this day and age anyone who modifies the exterior look of their vehicle is a ricer

it's retarded. the general population now are all into STOCK IS AWESOME, and nothing can look better than what the factory produced..

no one will agree on a hood, or body kit, or wheels, or anything, i just thought it'd be cool if they produced it as an option. but as you say custom fabricated, best option.

Im going to panel bond and rivet to my stock hood. then glass it in i like the seam it gives it a little better look i think. Im also throwing around the idea of doing vents in the fenders too just haven't found ones i like yet

any one interested this guy at go fat fiberglass said that he makes these cowl scoops for $150

go fast fiberglass

he said the dementions are :

"cowl scoop is 42 by 26.....
the 26 is edge of lip to edge of lip (mounting or bonding flange) by 2-1/4
inches high. I only make them in SEVERE DUTY as you saw on YOUTUBE (im the
only one making them this tuff) I get $150.00 for these scoops."

he also makes them in the ford style ( with out the center seam )
