I've had 2 and four doors. Just not in the Alero. I like the 4 door better.

my VA vehicle registration says "2 Door SDN" which i just noticed today since i was at the DMV renewing it which prompted me start this debate.

my MI vehicle registration just says "2 DOOR" back in the day when my mom had her Taurus 4 door sedan it was classified as a station wagon, so I wouldn't go by what the DMV says lol
i'm surprised it's 50/50, figured the coupe would overtake it but not by much, maybe 2/3 for coupes

I voted sedan cuz thats all Ive had and I like the fact I can seat my friends comfortably there. As for looks, I think if you want to fix it to look sporty (hood scoop, gunmetal rims, carbon fiber) you should get the coupe, but if you want to fix it all luxurious (wood interior, leather) go sedan. Just my opinion though.

my last car was a sedan & i liked it but my vote is 4 the coupe because i think they look better & because i don't have any need 4 a sedan

i like my coupe because it looks more like a tuner plus,im able to roll out with the family if need be.and i got a nice son and wife to fit in it.the coupe is roomy for a 2 door sport compact.wouldnt be able to do that in any import 2 door.
