Saturn Stock Stereo

So, i have the stock stereo.....and it sounds great! ittl even make my mirrors shake....but there is not enough treble.....its REALLY good in the low end but the high end it sounds like shit.....can i add tweeters to my stock setup?

plz help...


sorry, but the alero is in storage until april so my questions will be mainly saturn realted.....its a GM and most of them will be common car knowledge stuff so, i hope you guys dont care..

yes you can add tweeters. i just got a cheap $5 pair from a friend of mine that ordered about 20 of them of ebay. they are cheap, but are a HUGE inprovement even over the stock alero ones.

so, how do you add the tweeters? in not that good with stereos

For a quick easy cheap solution I would simply splice a set of wires into the leads going to your front speakers. That's essentially how the stock Alero tweets are set up. Or go for it and get an amp.
