Exclamation Calling All Moders!!

OK.....im haveing a shitty start to my summer already.

Driving home from college yesterday and about 10 miles from home (almost made it) The engine started giving me noise like rod knock..... Took it to a buddies house and dropped the pan..... METAL SHAVINGS ALL OVER!!!! So.... a different motor is being dropped in before the end of the weekend to keep me going for a bit... but here is where i need help

I need ANYONE AND EVERYONE to send me links to sites that have good parts for a really good price (im kinda broke some but have some money) that i can use to rebuild the motor....

I have a turbo going on it as well this summer so im going to prolly upgrade parts while im in there.....
This kinda moved my rebuild up about 8 months.. but oh well

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

probably be cheaper for u to buy a totally different used motor. it was for me. or pretty close it would have cost me $850 to fix mine when i blew it up, it had 94,000 miles on it. it bought a used engine with 30,000 miles on it for $920 shipped.

Yeah definitely:
- Wiseco forged pistons, overbore
- Eagle forged rods
- 2.3L HO camshafts
- 2.3L HO intake manifold
- Larger throttle body
- Headers, full exhaust

No header on a turbo engine.

Also it'll be the secret cam swap which consists of a '95 2.3L intake cam and '94 or earlier LO exhaust cam. The straight HO cams will not work with the stock PCM.

Headstrong, did you find out for sure what happened to the engine or are you just tearing it apart and rebuilding it? It'd be a good idea to find out where the metal shavings came from before you start putting new parts in it.

Yeah.. one of the crank bearings spun and seized up so i had rod boise at around 2900 rpms and as the rpms climbed... it got a hell of a lot worse. Im pulling the whole motor out and replacimng everything and checking all the specs on everything including the crank to make sure it is still good.
But yeah i want to bore it out and put the .020 pistons in and eagle-H rods and then the secret cams i already have and the intake manifold i want to get. I also already have the turbo exhaust manifold for the turbo as well as intercooler. all i need is a BOV, the pipeing, clamps and prolly more stuff as i go

If anyone knows of anyone who has parts like this laying around they just havent used and wont for awhile.... if they are willing to sell parts let me know.. im scrambling to find the pieces so i can get the motor back together and checked and back in my car..... i was wanting to be able to do some runs this summer and get some times up..... oh well we will see..
BUT
Any leads on parts... links.... or parts your selling (of course upgraded parts.. not OEM)
I would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!
THANKS GUYS!
