if you post ur shit on a car forum, especially this one, you had damn well better be prepared to take the good and the bad. this is where people express opinions. if you want a freaking peptalk to home to your mommy and nuzzle her teet. jesus. grow an effing pair.

if you post a picture or link and ask for opinions.. you're going to get it straight up. and dont expect them all to be pretty and nice.
its not the people that give honest opinions.. its the way people TAKE those opinions.. then get all pissed because -some- people out there have different tastes / opinions.
if you're looking for opinions on this board.. just expect the worst. if YOU like your idea anyways.. what the hell is stopping you from doing it?
EDIT: stock polished aluminium wheels ftw.
and pie.

Haha this forum is nothing. On XceedSpeed, if you post anything about your car or any pictures, 95% will be negative comments. (Unless you own a Camaro, Mustang, SRT-4, BMW, etc.) It's a massive bitchfest all the time in every thread that's made there.

Yeaaa, sometimes i need to vent But when a guy spends a lot of money on some lightweight wheels because he thinks its going to make a significant difference......i had to say something.

um it does... its simple physics, chris already made the point, lowering the weight of the rotational mass helps significantly
post 666 ftw

it does... and he spent less than your big ol' chromies ($758), and his wheels look awesome. they look good, were at a reasonable price, but because they're lightweight what a waste of money... right

I understand it helps some.....but how much power are you going to gain?
Personally, i dont like the wheels. And yea, i might have spent more but nothing looks better than some nice chrome wheels. IDK how the wheels will look on the car......they just have a weird design, and the tacky writing on the side doesnt help......

the lightweight wheels dont add hp, they allow you to more efficiently transfer the hp you do have to the ground, by allowing the wheels to encounter less resistance while rotating due to their lighter weight

Thank you for the obvious answer. i know the wheels dont PHYSICALLY add hp.
