yup, bulldog. my old nickname from wrestling was the yiddish bulldog (if anyone remembers the british bulldog, it was taken from that). Was coined by a friend when we were about 11, and it's stuck ever since.

A yiddish barbeque sounds delicious. No bacon tho lol. Anyways, yes i have one of the few c.f. hoods that were made, and i had it painted because there were some imperfections in the resin and chips on the sides from shipping. However, if another run of these is made, i would highly recomend that there is bracing on the underside of the hood. The one i have has no bracing, and vibrates like a bitch above 55 on the freeway. Heres the link to pics of it: Yes i have a c.f. hood
yiddish, i believe we discussed this as soon as i got my carbon fiber hood, i believe your shaking problem is just a matter of not haveing you pins tight enough, i've had mine up to the speed limiter numerous times and it doesn't shake at all, rides just like a stock hood, mine also had some chips and crap but they were minor so i left it for the time being, mine will eventally be painted though too....

I would be mildly interested only if it had all underhood bracing and used the factory hinges and hood latch (i.e. no hood pins).

i want one too, and i even have a job now, so ill be able to actually buy it....

its a hell of a lot better deal than the last cf hood idea i saw... they wanted like $700 for the top layer of the hood being cf, and $1400 for the whole hood...

havent found another one since until now..

ill take one with or without the hood pins, id rather not have a scoop, and id also like the braces as well... we gonna do this like everything else? pay half when it starts getting manufactured and the rest when its about to be shipped?

But remember that no one in this forum will be driving your car...

I know some of you that frequent the GA boards sorta know what's going on with my car but for you others I've been 'working' with a company to get a bunch of parts made for my gen GA's. As of now I have the only CF GA trunk in existence (since no one else has bought one from them yet) and as of next week CF fenders and hood with center extractor (similar to the EVO style you all mentioned). Following that I will also be recieving CF sideskirts and CF front and rear fascias.

If you guys are seriously interested in getting something CF made for your cars I can run it by the CEO's of the company and see what they say. What I'll need from you guys is a list of COMMITTED buyers, an owner in CA or nearby for test fitting and you to fwd me all this 411 via email. As for pricing you can go to www.importfan.com and check out their average price for CF parts there.

Otherwise, good luck! I know you guys have been waiting much longer than us GA guys to get companies to notice you!

Edit: BTW, you can check out progress pics of my car and the CF weave of the installed trunk on my N-Body registry:

i can get a mold and everything made for 1200 and sell the hoods for 400. so the price would depend on how many people wanted in.

i had planned on doing this with the cali cowl cf hood on ebay, but the ahoe let someone walk away with it locally for like 300 bucks.

the whole problem with getting a hood made for us is that so many want something different.

Not a damn one of us can agree on a hood style.

I prefer the RKSport cali edition hood. why????????

Well if you look at your stock hood you will notice the bump in the center of the hood. what they did was take that bump and extend it to the window and turned it into a cowl induction hood. that way you have a hood scoop that went with the body lines of the car already. now from that design you could add vents and anything else. But it is a start and doesn't look like an after thought. what do i mean by after thought........well putting a scoop on our hood that does go with our body lines.
