Squeaking from passengerseat

Hi,
I have some real effing annoying squeaking from the passenger side (interior). Sounds like its coming from the seat or maybe the speaker area. Recomendation where and what to look for?

Sometimes it stops or gets less obvious if I pull the right front of the passenger seat up.

I looked under it and cant find anything that could produce that horrible load squeaking.

Any suggestions?

could be the adjustment bar (from of the seat). if that's it, bust out the WD-40.

are there any other conditions going on? (like only happens at certain speeds, or driving over bumps or around corners...for examples)

no its almost evertime present.
If its not there when I start to drive, i get it as soon as I drive over a manhole cover (dont know if its the right word) or something similar.

If its the adjustment bar, how does it come it stops as i pull the cushion up and the front right corner? No big pulling, just lifting it little bit and its quiet? Letting it go --> immediate squeaking.

What does the adjuster bar look like? So i can spray the right thing

I'd use white lithium grease in a spray can. Run the seat all the way forward and spray both slides under the seat. Run the seat all the way back and repeat. Aim to get the grease into where the sliders rub together.

Did you check and make sure that the seat itself isn't loose?, check and see if the bolts just need to be tightened, should be 4 of them.

But if the slides were the problem it would only stop if I lift the seat up so that the 2 metal slides change their position. But its only necessary to lift the edge of the cushion (the leather wrapping to be exact) slightly up.

If look a little bit closer but nothing down there is loose, and its not a metal on metal squeak. it has a higher pitch. more like wet plastic or scratching over a blackboard.

yes seat is firm in its place. Nothing loose, no slag.

How would a squeak between the cushion foam and the leather wrapping sound?

like one hand clapping

hmm alright, I think I'll just start to drown my underseat construction in lithium grease and see if it gets better.
