lulz everyone knows about the camaro brake swap but you can't use the rotors you need impala ones. BTW i wouldn't trust a junkyard rotor as far as I could throw it.

Calipers and brackets, good buy. Rotor, waste of money
That rotor WILL NOT FIT an Alero, plus it's used and abused (most likey)
I really can't understand the rest of your posts.
I never heard of a car just thinking of stopping after "standing on the peedle" WTF is a "Peedle" anyway?

Wow, nobody really pays attention...
The Impala and Camaro rotors are THE SAME. They are drilled at 5x118 with 14mm holes so they fit both the 5x115 and 5x120.67 bolt patterns.

out of curiosity why use impala rotors instead of camaro? I've read all the brake posts on here and grandamgt.com it wasn't mentioned that it wasn't a 5x115 rotor or that it was the same rotor as the camaro.

I wouldn't say that I wasn't paying attention. I asked a question. I didn't know that the Impala and Camaro rotors were the same. If I knew that I would have never asked how they fit. I had the same thought as mr.mike because everything I have read on the brake swap Impala rotors were used. Maybe someone should sticky than info?

the car i got them off of was a 01 camaro and i have camaro pads in now.
the stock alero roters are 10.94 inches, the camaro stock roters are 12 inches,
and the calipers are duel piston V/S the aleros single piston

While the rotors for the Camaro and Impala (and a handful of other cars) are the same, the Camaro is the only one with the dual piston calipers. You use the Camaro pads from 98-02. Or a firebird of course.
The rotor is 11.93" x 1.26" (303mm x 32mm) compared to the stock 10.9" x 1.02" (278mm x 25.9mm)
