dbailey is an unknown quantity at this point
As much as it may seem to the the caliper pins, it is not. It is the piston in the caliper that causes this problem. As I said previously in the thread, I bought the TSB required lube and squirted it around the piston at least a year ago and have not had the problem since. It is way too easy to do.

Sorry to bring up this old post. But uhhh could I just apply some lithium grease to the piston?

Im more than happy he brought back this tread, when I saw it I heard that little tone in my head (you know the one that played in Zelda 1 on the NES when you found an item : Duh dududu!)

My brakes just started doing that, thought it was the calipers, thx god I know that know

personally i think with something like brakes you don't wanna mess around with em... whatever it needs done get it done and be safe
