Muffler

Guys,
I want to change my exhaust up and want your opinion on mufflers, tip size and pipping to use. Right now I have stock pipping, Flowmaster 8O series, single in dual out muffler, with 2.5 inch dual tips. I want to get a TRUE cat back with mandrel bent pipes all the from the cat, a better flowing muffler...maybe turbo style, and possibly different tips. What size pipping should I use...thinking 2.25 or 2.5 Also, what is the best flowing muffler that is NOT super loud...I like the sound of the chambered Flowmaster 80, but I want better flow! Also, should I get a high flow cat too?

my mods
DHP PCM 1.0
Throttle body bypass
Full CAI
180 T-Stat

Thanks a lot!

Get the magnaflow direct fit cat, then order yourself a dynomax super turbo or a thrush turbo muffler, and get the cat back made out of 2.25" at a muffler shop, total cost will be around $500-600 I would say.

I would hope not. i paid about $60 for a magnaflow cat and about $100 for borla universal muffler. Then local shop charged me $300 for full header back mandrel bent 2.5in pipe.

The one I'm talking about includes the down pipe for about 130 (which is well worth it) in full stainless, and that was a high estimate, better to spend less money than expected than more.

Most exhaust shops don't have a mandrel bender......
