Mounting amp to back of seat

Is the back of the seat wood or metal??

If it's wood, I know what to do.

If it's metal, should I mount some wood under the carpet, then mount to the wood?

just screw it in with those metal screws that are meant to be screwed into other metal. works wonders

its plastic and plenty strong. ive had 3 different amp sets up there over 5 yrs and never had one fall.
