I didn't realize you had a ld9...my friends is getting about 34mpg going 80 down the interstate so you are very low...If you want to know what all would be needed and a cost estimate to turbo the ld9 ask Ion as he is the most active member with a built ld9 on the site

what iv noticed with my driving habits, short trips (10 miles or less one way) i get realy crappy milage and im lucky to get 23mpg with my 3400. iv i go out in the country through the blueberry fields down east and put 100 miles one way ill easily get 28mpg. specialy if your in cold climate the transmission wont lock the torqe converter untill its up to a certain temp and that will realy kill your milage. i ran 34psi in my stock 16s and noticed my car was twitchy and deffinitly noticed a softer ride when i went back to 30 psi. i keep it around 32 evne though my sticker says 30
