Directional/Hazard flashers

Hi guys and gals and otherwise:

Two quick questions, Where is the directional flasher located on 2000 alero and how do you get to it, how does one get to the hazard switch, I think through the center air vent but I cant get out. Any help will be greatly appreciated

directional flasher IS the hazard flasher. its all one unit.

get the trim piece off... take the gauge cluster out (trim has 2 bolts up top, then the cluster has 4, one on each corner)

you can get your hand in there, on the unit, give it a good smack from the front to get it out.

Man I cant even remember how much I paid for mine, but i got it out with a screwdriver (handle part over hazard, and 1 swift tap with a hammer on the other end...pops right out, and you can pull it out from the vent or behind gauge cluster) forgot how I got mine, again is was soooooooooo long ago
