just started the other day, the car lets out this winding noise as i accelerate or slow down. The noise gets louder as the car's goin faster and lower when slowing down.

I've got no idea on this one, I can't find much in the search

It's accelerating fine, no change in RPM's or shifting but the noise won't stop damnit

I'd want to say it's more towards the front driver's side but just on the way back home here it was getting so loud i couldn't differentiate

Does anyone want to throw wheel bearing into this one? I'm hopin it will finally solve my TRAC-OFF/Anti-lock light problem

i had that problem and it turned out to be the bearing, changed them and it went away, as for the trac-off/anti-lock problem, its probably the sensor on your hub that's either not connected properly or is broken, i think you need to replace the hub to fix that

Yup...^^^ had the same problem. I found it to be even louder when I turned the steering wheel right. Anyways, I had to replace the Drivers side Hub.

Bearing assembly. Or belt, but that's more of a squeak than a whine, and is painfully obvious where it's coming from when you open the hood.

check the belts first...they might just be dry or worn out.

it only happens while there's movement, no noise under just acceleration

After takin it a guy down here and havin him drive it for literally 2 min, he said it was the hub bearing as well

I'm definately gonna have to replace this sucker, feels like I'm drivin a 747
