And So It Begins...The Repairs
Well... she's down and out... i have 1,500 to work with... EVERYTHING is getting fixed...
start off... engine..
Headgaskets..
i was driving, yesdarday, With Ttop191..and the low coolant light came on..
after doing a redoculus Acell out of a stop light.. well. he got me some coolant.. and i filled it to the neck of the surge tank (the surge tank was also all black, it's brand new) and all that come out was a flurry of bubbles.. uh oh...
got it home... got progressively worse, and i checked everything...
all points to a front head being blown on cyl's one and two...(reason for P0202 for ages....) so.... pics for your enjoyment...

mmmmmmm, maybe three months with a VERY VERY VERY slight leak (i used to have to top off the coolant, maybe every month....,and this past week it became hard to start.. i knew it was gone and kept checking different things like the oil, and coolant, so not long..and the last day was the day it officially blew... so i limped it home (not very bad, still no smoke/overheating) and parked it and tore it apart

Sounds like you've had some bad luck with the car lately, last thing I'd want you to have is bad bearings later on.

From what i saw in your pics it looks like the ring spacer for the headgasket, what did the parts list on the box say?
i bet its for the exhaust flange near the stat housing...

For that he would be better off finding another engine to use.
So hes got a back up plan.
