Well put all the parts in. Belt drive whisper quiet and car electrical works better. More power too. Now I can hear all the engine noises lol. Only took me little less than an hour

Put a couple thousand miles on it all since my last post and it's still working perfectly. Some of the paint has come off the idler pulleys but that's ok. Love having a fully working alternator.

Nice work.
I've used the Gates tensioners before - they are good, but this time I used a Dayco tensioner. They are a bit beefier and purportedly use a stronger spring.

The paint will wear off on the idler pulley after the belt wears it enough.

I was thinking of going with a dayco but went with the gates cuz it made shipping cheaper and I figured it would be good to keep all the parts from the same company.

Does the Gates pulley say Litens on it anywhere?
http://www.litens.com/abtwho.cfm

When I see a made in Canada serpentine belt tensioner I think Litens, which is really good quality (they make Motorcraft serpentine belt tensioners).

Glad to hear the car is still running well. Mine sits in the dark cold garage waiting on injectors after it's 90 mile tow back in July

I couldn't tell you what brand my tenstioner is. I replaced it back in 2008

Just number 4, but I'm looking to replace all of them.

My g/f and I talked about it and we decided it's in our best interest to do the engine swap in the Delta now, instead of later. With that said, the Alero is getting kicked out of the garage for a short time (my garage is small, and it would be my work area) so the Alero has to be running ASAP.

All the injectors are old. I bought them used back in 2010. They could have 300,000 miles on them as far as I know. I'm waiting on one to show up, when that does, I'll be replacing 2,4, and 6. I'll replace 1,3, and 5 probably in the spring

Might as well replace them all since you got the rail off.

Are you going to 28# injectors since you have a decent amount of mods?

Car has them already. It's tuned for the 28# anyway so to go with the stock ones wouldn't work too well.

The 28's support upto 300 HP safly and start getting maxed out around 320, I think after my rebuild, I'll be in the 280 range
