you gotta be kidding me! The Scion TC is slow. I kicked the crap out of one last night. I also only have a CAI until this upcoming weekend. Dont waste your time on the TC. Find a better race

As long as you're talking track talk, it's good.

Im talkin track talk redog. My street racing days ended a while back when i got busted. Luckily i knew the police chief and he got me out of it...kinda. Community service was no fun, but it coulda been alot worse. Once again, dont waste your time and fuel on a scion. thats like one of us lining up with a Evo VIII.

The last time a salesman said "be careful, it's quick" was when I was test driving a brand new Grand National T-Type, and he wasn't bullshitting !!
Nothing else factory new has impressed me since.

last time a sales person said anything like that to me I was looking at a Mustang Cobra, the sales guy said be careful when you punch it or it will suck your balls up under the seat

Those were great cars weren't they. How old are you anyway? Most of these kids were in diapers when they were built. My friend had purchased one new and I think he had a perpetual woodie ever since.

WOW sorry to bring an older thread up but yeah my dad sold his T-Type two weeks before i got my license because he didnt want me driving it, still my favorite car ever but yeah he locked up several turbos on a 70,000 mile engine turbo quality wise could have been better but I WILL OWN ONE!
and i thought all grand nationals from 83 to 87 were turboed but no the regals were majority v8

Stock a MT tC will go about 15.7 in the 1/4 mile. With the TRD blower it is only good for about 15 flat.
A 3.4 Alero should have an edge and the 4 cylinder will most likely lose against it. Considering you have some heavy 18's in the corners then it might be a very close race.
