Racing Stripes

I wish my camera was working so I can show you pics of my car, but I have a new idea i need opinions on.
I have a red alero coupe, black aluminum low rise spoiler, tinted tails, tinted windows, and black rims.
I want to put racing stripes on it, either one or two, in black, down the middle of the car.
Opinions?

Racing stripes usually look retarded. They look good in white, two of them down the middle of a red Cobalt. I've tried photoshopping it onto my Alero many times, looks gay though.

damn,and i though i was the only one thinking of doing racing stripes...doubt i'll do it
but, my idea was to run them completely from front to back, and they'd go from the inside corner of the headlights and they'd be about 4in or so wide.. If i get motivated enough to do it, i'll show my crappy photoshop..er windows paint.. job so you can see my crappy idea

i did have at one point 2 stripes down the center of my car. black stripes on a white car looked alright, and i got a lot of people saying the same. but i took them off and like how it looks w/o a lot better. i do like black stripes on red cars tho. i think they make a temporary car paint, duplicolor makes it i think. or use vinyl precut stripes, they do come off with out too much effort.

Yes seriously a kit and lowering is well worth the money, especially over stripes.

most will say lower. it's cheaper and it's part of the steps you do to your car.

I kitted first, it's not lowered yet, doesn't look that bad..
