Rca cables

Hey.. Im a complete noob at wiring, but i just got an amp and a wiring kit for my subs and i had a question. What do the rca cables do?

They carry audio out from headunit into the amp. If your headunit does not have RCA out (factory does not) then you will need a line converter.

the rca cables are a low level imput to your amp. much better then high levels (which is what power your regular speakers) they are similar to the regular audio cables for your home sounds system.
