I figured, but what's it called? and is it under pressure or could I slip a piece of tubing over it for a temp fix?

egr delete (i have it) the egr re filters dirty fumes back into your intake to make it cleaner. it keeps the motor a little cleaner inside but it can add 1 mpg or minus 1-2 mpg if you delete it. i like not having it. plus i dont have a cat either.
as for the hose its a pcv hose i believe, you might be able to temp fix it, never had a problem with mine so idk.

if it does the gain is minimal, I only deleted mine to make it look cleaner under the hood...plus I don't like all the build up from it recycling my exhaust..

Well didn't do anything but bought some things...
Preparing for my PP UIM/lim swap. (Whenever I get the time) went to autozone when they opened this morning to get some coolant (2 gal, I need to refresh my coolant anyway this year, I do it every year.) new serpentine belt. Mine chirps a lot when cold.. Won't replace till after manifold swap though. And thanks to Greg (alerob888) for the permadry felpro gasket part number, I had em look it up and just my luck they had one, JUST ONE in stock. 79.99 was the price. All in all, I spent 150$ thismorning there.
Still need a new thermostat, and oil for the job, other then that I'm set. Just gotta get the time to do it. Goal is to get it done before ASS. We'll see.
