Ive been positive PLENTY of times. Its just when i see someone doing something completely retarded i have to say something. after doing dumb shit myself and having people call me out on it (blue engine bay), i feel like i have the job of educating the people who do stupid stuff.
Ask anybody on here thats been around for a while if im a negative person......im actually a really nice person. But when you go and post "OMG, its gonna sound like a 5.0 mustang woooooo!" your gonna get shit for it. How is losing back pressure and gas mileage going to help you at all? its just dumb..... dont get all offended though, just learn! (doesnt seem like you've dont that yet, cause you keep posting about removing your cat......even after NUMEROUS people have told you its a BAD idea)

hahahahahaha omg ur such a little ethug, and now ur bitching about billy? bahahahaha gfto. i would love to see YOU back up the shit that comes out of your mouth in real life. How are the hs girls?
back on topic....
Gutting your cat is retarded, as is removing it alltogether for street use. get a high flow, its virtually identical to a straight pipe, and is legal. people laziness and eagerness to cut corners is astounding.

Tell us more Cherrington.
I was going to buy a 'performance' cat recently but people in the know at work told me its a gimmick. The huge difference the OP felt is likely due to his former cat being clogged, causing his engine to choke on its own fumes. Mine wasn't that bad and when I changed it out it was like driving a different car.

If by cutting Cat you mean removing it and replacing with a pipe of same diameter, well you will get more performance than with the stock Cat.
However, your car becomes illegal and with all the testing that was done on dynos about the "High flow cat" VS "Cat delete" it was shown very few difference btw the two, lets say .2 hp difference.

I wouldn't say that the max power is hugely affected, but the midrange mos def is.
