i cant see it in your pic but ive done tailgate dents, myself, by drilling small hole, in the center, pulling on a small screw in the hole, then putting a finger tip of body filler in teh hole, then used duplicolor over the hole

Looks like a pretty big dent. If dry ice doesnt do it, you could try AleroRacing's method or send to a proffessional.

You could try the heat gun and dry ice method (If you have a meijer nearby, they have dry ice). Other than that *I* would remove the interior panel and see if it's possible to pop it out from the backside. I don't like drilling anything.
Other than that, see how much to get it done by a Paintless Dent Removal service.

Pull that part of the interior out. Then push it out by hand. Easy enough.
My body shop guy had some dent puller thing. Put a plastic plug over the dent, special hot glue to hold it on. Popped right out. Peel glue off and a little cleaner and its gone... Cost me $20.

its a propellant. very similar to compressed CO2. it comes out as clean, anti-static air, when sprayed upright. invert it and you get just the coolant.
they use this, so kids don't breathe it to get high. if they do, they die. its heavier then air, you breathe enough and you won't be able to breathe out. problem solves itself. (unlike the CO2, which gets you instantly high)

what makes what work? the supposed dryice/co2 + heat method?
when metals are heated, they expand. when they are cooled, they contract. so by heating it then cooling it quickly, its contracting the metal quicker. The dent can only hold its shape for so long before the metal contracts to the center so quick that the inverted metal has to evert. at which point, it will regain its usual shape (because you stop cooling it)
i'll add this
http://www.aleromod.com/forums/showt...highlight=dent
so this thread doesn't turn into that one. funny though
