I've searched the forums and found nothing so.. i was wondering how you cut ur stock bumpers to fit a daul exhaust. what tool did you use to cut? im thinking jig saw? air jig saw? and did you guys jus make a template of the other molded cut out or did you re cut the existing mold cut out and make it deeper so they match. How did you get them to look the same because ones molded and the one you cut will look akward right?

if you have a dremel, it will work to cut it. If you have decent tips, you'll fill the cut-out nicely and you won't notice that one's molded and the other is cut.

i made a paper template of the factory cutout, then i flipped it over and marked the bumper with a marker and cut the opening with a pair of tin snips, took an hour and a half, and looks excellent.

This is what i wanted to get done like 2 years ago to my car but the muffler shop said theres no way they would cut my bumper for me so i just said screw it.
I know some people have gone to the junkyard an cut the molded section out of the bumper on a junker then taken it to a body shop and had it molded in.

besides that the it needs to be mirrored on the passenger side.(exactly the opposite of the drivers side) |

uhh, its not much extra work and im sure i would notice
im sorry but i wont even touch a half assed mod like that, if i were you i would deffinetly keep going to that muffler shop because they prolly do quality work!
if you wanna do it right you'll mold in a new one, if you dont mind your car being half-assed though....

If I'm not mistaken. I think Molson did his with heat.. Heated the plastic and pushed it up to form the shape. I've gotta do mine it goes to the muffler shop on Monday. Gonna do some searching!

good job.... it does look like it comes stock with the dual outlets..... if u could help me out it would be great... i have a borla sitting at home, and i am wondering if i can do that just to one side.... i know i can, but steve(who i got it from) said that i would need to have exhaust hangers so that there wouldn't be any rattling.... i don't want to have my exhaust hanging low or anything like that, so im just wondering if it would(in your mind) look good with it being cut a little bit more......

Jabartram-looks awesome. I'm assuming you sanded the edges once done? It can't have come out that clean...
And you didn't need a repaint?  Wow.
And to Molson who did his with heat, that didn't warp or wreck the paint either?
