I've been doing some research on a problem with my alero, and I came across a TSB put out by GM on APR 1, 2004. Well actually, I could only read a small piece of it, and i would like to read the whole thing. Does anyone on here know how to get ahold TSB's from GM??? I've looked online and everywhere i check wants me to pay for them. Will a dealership let me see one if i ask?? IF ANYONE ON HERE WORKS FOR A DEALER AND WANTS TO HELP the TSB number is 040604024. The NHTSA ID is #10012634, and it starts with "the pcm will not properly communicate......." that's all i get.

Some customers may comment that their vehicle's engine is unable to be properly serviced or tested using non-TECH2® (Generic) service or test equipment. Reprogram to the latest calibration available through TIS.
The new calibration should be from TIS satellite data update version 1.0 for 2004 or later, available starting January 2004. As always, make sure your TECH2® is updated with the latest software version.
