take the panel off the passenger side c pillar. thats closest to the antenna, but why don't you catch it behind the radio?

not there, do it in the kick, you want it closest to the radio.

reason you cant go behind the radio is because thats a gm mini antenna adapter, so youd need antenna adapters. theres a standard plug right in the passenger kick in all nbodies. jus pull the floor panel/kick. youll see it near the harnesses there.

well thats all great and stuff guys, but this kit came with this type of modulator

xm sureconnect
http://store.xmfanstore.com/sureconnect.html

which sticks to the inside of the window or on an external antenna.

my parents didnt know i had a xm ready head unit so until i can pick me up one of these Pioneer XM Digital Satellite Tuner

im going to have to settle with this crappy fm modulator.

oohhh, i thought you meant the FM Direct Adapter. what you have isnt an fm modulator, thats more or less an antenna for the "wireless" fm modulator that is built in. they dont work very well, but you can try it. you dont have to use the adhesive. you can just pull the flat piece out and wrap it right around any part of the actual antenna wire.

using one of these(http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1093468786609) would be your best bet though. that goes inline with the antenna and basically shuts off FM stations while the XM unit is on

I have the exact same kit as you do. I just stuck mine onto the closest line coming from the antenna. My xm works great!!
