This is good if your amp is stable at 2ohms on each channel. I assume you are running two subs in a box that are 4ohm DVC, so you have two sets of wires coming out of the box one to one channel and one to another...nothing wrong with this as long as the amp can handle it.

I sure hope not. Looks like a double head faucet with titties coming out. Plus I am not sure the wiring is correct

basically when i look at the crutchfield diagram it only shows one side (ie: 4 connectors vs my 8) so does that mean i leave the other 4 untouched??

well all that looks and makes sense to me, but there are a total of 4+/4- terminals PER sub.

Ok after looking at the pics above the way they are wired in post 21 is the correct way to wire them because they will be wired for a 2ohm load. If the amp can handle 2ohms per channel then you are good to go.

They're duplcate terminals. The + and - on one side are for one coil, the + and - on the other side of the sub are for the other.
You can wire them that way as in the crutchfield diagram, however if you have only 2 terminals on your box you could also wire them up as a 4Ω load and bridge the amp. The results should be identical based on your amp's specs.

just go with this configuration. each voicecoil has 2+ and 2- terminals to make wiring it like this easier, so you dont have to try to attach 2 wires into 1 terminal.

This is what I'm saying...I give up.....it says right in his specs above that the amp is stable at 2ohms X 2 so the way he has them wired now will work with no problem. There is nothing above that says the amp is 2 ohm stable bridged...it is at 4ohms but I like mine being on seperate channels..but that's just me and I'm still pushing 300 watts rms to each sub at 2ohm load on each channel.

hook it up exactly like buddy shows you in the pic..
stay with the 4 ohm load unless you invest in a powerhouse of an amp then ide run it 2 ohm
