closest sound to pacesetter catback?
so i love the pacesetter setup but its been on backorder for 2 months im still waiting and they told me atleast another month. If i went an alternate route i was curious is there any muffler out there that has that nice mellow sound thats not raspy like the pace i just really like that sound it makes on our v6?

I believe that the only options are the pacesetter and doing a custom with different tips. There is an exhaust thread I had where I discussed it pretty intensively, but I think that is the case if I remember correctly.
Where did you buy the exhaust from?

That sucks. I would recommend finding a good exhaust shop and see what deal they can get you on a custom pipe. May even be cheaper and sound better. Parts aside from that are in that info thread.
Good luck.

Just buy a turbo-style muffler (summit, jegs, thrush, etc.) and have a shop custom make the rest of the system. You'll probably save money in the end, and the Thrush mufflers are inexpensive and stainless so that will be better too.

The mainstream ones haven't been in stock. He would have to deal with some shiestier businesses probably. I would be interested to see a custom exhaust...
