This morning my car wouldn't start came home still wouldn't.
It's not the battery it's trying to but all i can get is a whining noise

i need help,
where is the starter located on this car any way?

It it cranking?

what's your battery voltage?

Do you have fuel at the rail?

Do you have Spark?

Do you have compression?

problem fixed some how i had a blown fuse just went thru them all and found it just forgot what number it is

I had a starting issue with my 2.4L Alero. It was the ignition switch and sylinoid. It would start one day then not start the next. I took it in twice and the retards couldn't find anything wrong. Finally it died at work so we pushed it up the hill to the GM store and they were able to tell me what was wrong. If it happens again, I'd have it looked at cuz it is a giant pain in the arse. It's expensive to get fixed, but you won't be stranded anywhere.

and you might want to look into why a fuse is blown.......they dont just blow, you could still have a problem somewhere and blowing the fuse is like the symptons.......just keep your eye on it.........

oh and tell us which fuse you blew so we can help you out more......
