Like this one. I bought it off of a guy over on grandamgt.com for real cheap. Look around on ebay, the prices on there are better. The only thing i had to do was sand down the beauty ring around the factory head unit space because it wouldnt sit flush. Thats why i painted it white. hit me up if you have any more questions.

only thing i had to add was the dvd player and the changer in the trunk. there's really no place for a cd slot on the headunit itself.

Anyone know if a 7" flip up LCD screen will fit in the dash just below an after market single DIN HU, I realize that I will have to hack down the plastic mounting part that the HU sits in but will I have to grind down the console surround as well?

If you want an in dash HU that will do MP3 CD DVD AM/FM SAT RADIO, etc the alpines are the way to go, if your not into paying close to 2000$ american for a HU then go with the IVA-D301 all the features of the IVA-D901 (alpines top screen) But without the super High Deff display so its quite a bit less still has in dash DVD cd mp3 and all the controls and built in amp etc, and its touch screen with a 7inch lcd.Look at the specs on crutcheild for the alpine screens,,, they are REAL GOOD! lol

When you ask for dvd mp3, do you want a player that will do mp3 on dvd? Only a few models have that capability. Most will play mp3 on cd's, dvd, and some dvd-r.

It plays burned dvd's but I haven't heard anyone saying that it does mp3. Sounddomain is a great forum (try mobile video) that discusses it. I have heard that kenwood has one. Otherwise you can convert your mp3 files to the same code that dvd players use for audio. It can then be read on any dvd player that excepts dvd-r. Afterdawn.com is a good forum for finding the software.

Just in case anyone cares, I work in the Proshop at Wiesner GMC/Pontiac, and have a good line on that kind of stuff. If anyone wants prices give my part#s and i'll get back with you.

I'll do them for 25% over cost. Which is better than the 100% you'll pay at best buy.

idk if they have storage in them, but for a lot cheaper and more functionability u could install a carputer....get a touchscreen for a lot less.....although im trying to find out how some of the guys on mp3car.com installed a radio into their carputer....but its a cheaper alternative if need be.
