Projector Idea

Has anybody ever taken the aftermarket projectors from an ef (88-91) civic or crx and put them in alero headlights? They use 9006 bulbs so i could use my 9006 hid's it was just an idea i had and wanted to see if anyone thought of it or tried it? thanks

i was thinking about these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-91...spagenameZWDVW ef civic and crx's use the same bulbs as aleros so instead of having to cut the back metal like i read it would just fit in

Mine came from a Cougar which use 9005's i believe (high beam's). They fit perfect with the stock alero bulbs. The only problem is that you might have to cut one of the notches on the 9006 to fit into the 9005.

just get lexus rx projectors like i did.....and get D2S bulbs and balasts its just easier or the Acura MDX projectors are 9006 and there wayyyy cheaper i saw a pair for 90 bucks..off ebay.
