switchboard/leds

waiting for my leds to get her so i decided that i wanted to turn my arm rest into a switch board i left plenty of room to add more. any good ideas for this or anything related to leds let me know

don't like the supersized buttons/switches... but its not a terrible idea...

Thats gonna be pretty sweet once you have it all done. Not to mention... a great mess of wiring behind it all. But it is a pretty good place for um.

Ya well befor i had two switches one for strobes in headlights and one for interior neons. and i hate having them scattered around. i plan on doing alot of led lighting soon. also im getting rid of the neons and putting in leds much nicer and they are easily hidden

Hey man, I am planning on doing something like this for turning on some different things in the car.

How did you get the base that the switches are on to stay in place inside the console?

i made 4 pieces like the one in the picture out of lexan and silconed them togather. then i silconed each piece to a wall on the inside of the arm rest. The put the top piece in and thats it

has anyone ever put led's inside the area of the bumper where the fog lights are? i think that would be BA to get it to illuminate inside it at night.

i decided to scrap this whole plan anduse a metal project box from radioshack ill have pics tommorow hopefully
