externally wet sensors aren't going to do anything, i was talkin about the inside where the actual sensing part is lol people have killed their TPS sensors that way or the IAC or something and that causes the car to die

I am not positive i am at work but im guessing 3.5 in if that sounds right, i havent recieved the cai via ups yet. but it said it fit 2003 3400 alero, but for the bypass only being 2.75in i guess i will see when it gets here.

I need to get a bypass like this even with the stock intake. Almost lost my motor a couple times today, with all the rain we just got in FL. By the time you realize how deep standing water is, its too late. Oil light came on, I stopped and disconnected the intake hose from the air filter so it wouldn't take on any more water, got home and drained the crankcase and the water had made it into the engine oil. I think shes ok now tho.

so tell me, how did water get in the crankcase and in your oil system if you sucked it through your air intake. lol

Quick question: I want to get cold air for my Alero, but I've been told I would have to replace the whole exhaust? Is there any truth to this?

umm no? just get a CAI and install it....it would help your alero breathe if you got a new exhaust with a high flow cat and muffler....but its your choice

looks pretty good, but that looks like the ebay filter. you should def. replace that with an AEM Dryflow or a K&N sometime, they are lots better quality.
