Knock when I cut the wheel
Hey guys I need some help,
Since this morning, everytime i cut my wheel left or right i hear a loud clunk which sometimes keeps my wheel veering to the right when i let go of the wheel.
Could this be a strut/coil problem or rack and pinion?
Any help would be appreciated!

the clucking noise when you turn your wheels is your CV axle is bad.

nah if it's making the car veer I'd put money on the strut bearing plate thingys. My car was doing the exact same thing as he's describing , I replaced the mounts and symptoms went away.

Had the exact same problem, the left upper strut mount was binding. Just put a used strut assy in on Saturday, now everything is fine...

either a stuck front strut mount bearing or a broken coil spring in front. mine was the latter when it did that.

I just said if its a clucking noise (like a cluck, cluck, cluck) while hes turning ... then it is his CV axles. Thats all i said. If it just a clunk one time noise while hes turning, then that would rule out the axles. LOL
