Tail Tints

Just curious if anyone has a picture of tail light tints with the same color car that I have? I want to do it but I don't know if it will look good.

Thanks

taped off the reflector in the middle and sanded the whole tail light then cleaned and then sprayed the tint on

Order your VHT online. You have to wait for shipping but you can generally get two cans for the price of one on eBay and such. JUST TAKE YOUR TIME if you tint them yourself. Be patient. Don't get all antsy, give it at least 10-15 minutes between light coats. Don't layer it on and give it a chance to run.

if you wetsand after the final coat (like you are supposed to) and use a rubbing compound to fill everything then your favorite polish/wax, you will get gleaming results

this is what it will come out like if you have them sprayed with paint/clear coat mix.

You recalled correctly. And thanks.

I put the wing on when I was 16 and was too lazy/broke to fix the holes when I changed my mind. Spent my money on gas and bass instead.

That is one nice ass!

OP, honestly, if you want them to look glossy and professional, "tint" is one thing that you want to take to a professional. Whether it be window and/or tails, save up some cash and go around getting some quotes. (unless you know someone)

I learned quite a few things over the years with DIY projects. You don't get the same "Look what I did!" feeling when you have someone else help you out. But rather the "Look what I worked hard for to get the cash to do. And damn it looks nice!"
