Well guys the car went into the shop today to get looked at. So I guess we will found out soon enough what the real problem is, plus it was going in anyway to get looked over to make sure everything is good to make the trip up to Michigan cause I don't want it to break down half way there if ya know what I mean.

Cool

I've had the trac abs lights on since I got the car 7 months ago. No issues so far. Its just annoying and there are extra beeps when you start the car. Not worth the money to get the hubs changed because of a sensor!

My 2 cents.

My lights came on a good month before I started getting bearing noise.

I also drove for 3 years on a loud bearing, including a handfull of trips from western SD to indiana. 23 hours straight of bearing growl is enough to make you want to kill yourself. It was bizarre driving the first time after getting it fixed.

Well guys got the car back today. Turns out its just the sensor. So for now I just have to deal with the lights I suppose. Not really a big deal although i can feel the loss of braking from not having the abs most of the time. Only thing that sucks about it so far.

Lol, no you can't.

ABS doesn't add braking power, it takes away brakes when the wheels lock up, so you can still steer (rolling wheel = you can turn sorta, locked = you slide). The only time you'd realize you don't have ABS is in an emergency stop.

One thing is that the DRP (Dynamic Rear Proportioning) may be disabled with the ABS light on,
