i was lookin on ebay for a new intake and saw a somewhat mini supercharger for 200 dollars that has 3 pounds of boost and adds about 80 horsepower and was wonderin if thats a complete waste of money or if that would be an alright buy

and it runs off batterys or a 12v power source?

all it says is "High current for short duration is drawn directly from your battery, not your alternator. Just like your starter motor"

Those things move so little air that really all it does is the fan causes a hindrance. Your engine can pull in a lot more air on vacuum than a 3 psi boost could supply, and frankly I doubt that little thing could make 3 psi. Also 80 hp on 3 psi is bogus, you might get that off about 7-9, with a good tune.
